The Hepworth Garage was founded 25 years ago by the Hepworth family, in 2008 they purchased and combined with Warnes garage which had been established in Shalford for over 100 years. 10 years ago Ed Mullis and his wife Emma took over the garage and ever since they have been providing exceptional car servicing and maintenance to countless satisfied customers.

As a vehicle owner, it is important to ensure that your car is serviced and maintained in accordance with the legal requirements. An annual MOT test, available at Hepworth Garage consists of standardised emissions and road safety inspections to guarantee that your vehicle presents no risks while driving.

The majority of modern vehicles now utilise Digital Service Records, we are able to offer this capability free of charge, using both dealer level recording and a stand alone service allowing the owner to access and maintain the servicing records for your vehicle.

Our Team

Ed

Starting his career as an apprentice at BMW, Ed quickly became a senior technician and went on to run a racing team in the Ginetta championships and took part in Britcar endurance races. In 2006 he made the transition to Ferrari and worked there for 10 years, becoming a La Ferrari master technician, before taking over the Hepworth garage in 2015 which he now runs with his wife Emma. In his spare time, Ed indulges in his passion for motorsports and car collecting.

Louis

Louis is an enthusiastic, self-driven member of the Hepworth Garage team, working as an automotive technician and MOT tester for the last 4 years. After completing a 2-year course in public services at Merrist Wood, Louis decided to pursue his passion for cars and become an automotive technician. He was determined to achieve the highest level of qualification and went on to earn his Level 3 Automotive Technician accreditation as well as his Level 3 EV Technician accreditation.

Emma

Emma has always had a love of cars which began with her father taking her to school in his Rally car. As a full time Mum and Ed’s wife, Emma plays an integral role in running the business, she is in charge of front of house, reception, admin and HR.
